In The year 250 after Beethoven presenter and classical music enthusiast Floris Kortie shows us why Ludwig van Beethoven was chosen to lead us into the modern era with his revolutionary music.

Welcome to the year 250 after Beethoven! Two and a half centuries after he descended to Earth, Floris Kortie (Podium Witteman) and pianist Vera Kooper show us how Beethoven has changed our world. Armed with historic evidence and based on personal confessions, crash courses in history, obscure YouTube videos and the most beautiful music ever written, one thing becomes clear: the Beethoven era has only just begun! The fierce, romantic and stone-deaf composer has been showing us the way since 1770. Beethoven touches everyone: huge in Japan, popular in hiphop, an icon to freedom fighters and a darling of European politicians.

To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert makes use of a cash-free interval. Interval drinks are included in your tickets: the perfect solution to enjoy your company and your drink as long as possible!
