‘In Misa Criolla different worlds come together, the border between folk music and classical music disappears. It is literally a Creole mass, based on a mix of Indian, African and European sources’, explained conductor and singer Adrián Rodríguez Van der Spoel in an interview.

The popularity of the swinging Argentinian Misa Criolla reached unprecedented heights in the eighties. Música Temprana takes this unique music back to its source. The ensemble, specialised in baroque music from Latin America, creates a gripping evening that is all about 17th and 18th century songs from Peru, Spain, Bolivia and Guatemala with an original and refreshed Misa Criolla as the blazing highlight.

To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert will make use of the 'wallet-less intermission' concept. Visitors are asked to pay for their intermission drink in advance when ordering their tickets: the perfect solution for enjoying your company and your drink as long as possible!
