‘More than just a string quartet,’ the Ragazze Quartet calls itself. Rightly so, as the four adventurous ‘ragazze’ (girls) are very entrepreneurial.

Today in the ring with world-renowned American soprano Claron McFadden, for Costello’s The Juliet Letters. To this day, people are still writing letters to Juliet, once the better half of Romeo in Verona. Some of them are actually answered by a professor...Costello translated them to music. These letters correspond with Janáček’s ‘letters’ quartet beautifully: ‘Today I wrote my sweetest desire in tones...’ De Volkskrant about the Ragazze’s Janáček CD: ‘***** Physical, rhythmic power that comes from deep within the Ragazze.’

A delicious piece of apple pie is included in the ticket price. You are welcome to relax in our foyer before or after the concert. A free Channel Classics CD is included in the ticket price for this series!

To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert will make use of the ‘wallet-less intermission’ concept. Visitors are asked to pay for their intermission drink in advance when ordering their tickets: the perfect solution for enjoying your company and your drink as long as possible!
