Due to the latest measures implemented by our government around the corona virus outbreak, we have had to cancel all concerts and close our café Meneer Frits until June 1st. We are currently trying to re-schedule all cancelled concerts to a later date. Due to the enormity of this process, it may take a little longer than you might expect from us before we can give you any clarity.

Muziekgebouw Eindhoven has had to close its box-office with immediate effect. You can reach us on e-mail tickets@muziekgebouweindhoven.nl, but we must ask you to refrain from contacting us about any cancellations.

Ticket holders will be informed as soon as possible about the guidelines along which we will be handling tickets already paid for. We are doing our utmost and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding in these extraordinary times.

Beauty straight from France. La Mer is Debussy’s unparalleled musical rendition of the sea off the coast of Normandy where he lived for some time. You can feel its pulse, almost by the minute. Experience the interplay of waves and skies.

The Taiwan Philharmonic shows its ‘natural affinity’ with this impressionistic music, a sea journey filled with light, waves and gorgeous panoramas’ (Classical Voice). Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto no.5 is playful, virtuoso and lively. It seems to be forgotten for a long time, but it has been on the rise recently. With its Egyptian motives, an irresistible piece of music indeed. The American Kit Armstrong is an ‘astounding phenomenon’ (Süddeutsche Zeitung); ‘remarkable’, says the New York Times.

We invite you to join us for a free introduction prior to the concert. The introduction will be presented by Bart de Graaf in the small hall, and will start at 19:30.

To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert will make use of the 'wallet-less intermission' concept. Visitors are asked to pay for their intermission drink in advance when ordering their tickets: the perfect solution for enjoying your company and your drink as long as possible!
