An alien, shaped like Scarlett Johanson, mingles among us. And this is how the film Under the Skin (2013) became “astonishing and frightening” Het Parool wrote. The same goes for the music.

One enters, as it were, the spooky storage of sounds and dissonants of the great 20th century composers like Krzysztof Penderecki and Györgi Ligeti - much loved and gratefully used by film directors for their SciFi and horror productions (The Shining). Stargaze gives us a strong rendition under the baton of opera-conductor André de Ridder. Composer Mica Levi called Under the Skin ‘a mental experience’, she told the indiewire website. Members of the audience are also guaranteed to totally lose themselves in this thrilling, weird and atonal score.

To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert makes use of a cash-free interval. Interval drinks are included in your tickets: the perfect solution to enjoy your company and your drink as long as possible!
