The name Clannad makes most music lovers' hearts beat faster. This legendary band, formed by the Brennan clan which also produced Enya and Moya Brennan, is part of the heritage of Irish music. The formation will be saying goodbye to its fans with the international farewell-tour In A Lifetime. This is the last chance to see Clannad live!

After a sold-out first evening, we have booked a second concert: Monday 18 April.

POSTPONED
Clannad was initially scheduled to do one concert on 16 April 2020. Because of the measures concerning the coronavirus this was first moved to 12 April 2021 and now to 15 April 2022. All ticket holders have received a personal message with practical information.

Tickets already purchased with the date April 16, 2020 or April 12, 2021 are valid for the concert on April 15, 2022!

When the Brannon family and Bono (who we know from U2 of course) recorded the single In A Lifetime in 1995, it was an immediate break through. The single became nothing short of a world-wide hit. Clannad couldn’t perform anywhere without the audience singing along with their folk. Other well known songs, like the film soundtrack Harry’s Game and I Will Find You, are stuck in one’s memory. Clannad wrote the album Landmarks in 1997, earning them a Grammy in the Best New Age category. It grew to be one of the most famous Irish albums of all times.

Clannad comes from ‘Clann as Dobhair’, meaning ‘family coming from the village Gaoth Dobhair’.

Founder Padraig Duggan passed away in 2016. The original band members Moya, Ciaran and Pol Brennan as well as Noel Duggan decided to keep going and were soon reinforced with Moya Brannan’s daughter and son. Aisling and Paul became the new Clannad members. A large number of shows has been dedicated to Padraig Duggan, often to standing ovations.
