Wouter Hamel is back in the Dutch concert halls at last. After successful tours through the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea and Europe, he is traveling through his homeland with an abundance of energy. With an entirely new show and songs that seem to flip between pop and jazz, Wouter Hamel will warm everyone's hearts.

Creative wanderings and challenges can make a person grow, but they don't fundamentally change who you are deep inside. Wouter Hamel knows all about this. Ten years after he crossed the boundary into the unexplored area where pop and jazz meet with his successful albums Hamel & Nobody's Tune, he returns to his original musical source. Purified by the experience with his more pop-oriented adventures, Hamel's sound is back to its original, albeit more refined as his new album Boystown (2019) shows.

Wouter Hamel's Nightclub is a theatershow which has the audience think they are visiting an exiting nightclub in the middle of the past century, but with a modern twist. Hamel and his band get their inspiration from the 30's and 50's jazzy pop, musically adding a 70's sauce and confidently bringing it into the 21st century helped by impulses from many other trends. Wouter Hamel's Nightclub is a show that has playfulness and craftsmanship in abundance. A fun, virtuoso and compelling musical spectacle such as only Wouter Hamel can deliver.

Wouter Hamel was originally planned to perform in our small hall on 4th April. Due to the measures surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, this concert has been rescheduled to Thursday 18th March 2021. Ticketholders have been informed personally and given further information.
