His new album tour brings master-instrumetalist Ahmet Aslan to The Netherlands. This musician, with his own interpretation of the Turkish folk music, is mostly known for his viruoso playing of his self-made instrument Di-Tar (a cross between the bağlama and the classical guitar) and for his intimate singing.

The experienced musician Ahmet Aslan made his breakthrough with a wide audience when his music was used in the popular Turkish maffia series “Eşkiya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz”.  His solo album titled “Va u Waxt (Wind and time)” came ou in 2003, followed in 2008 by “Meleklerin Dansi (Dance of the Angels)”. While in Rotterdam at the World Music Academy he developed a unique instrument, combining the Baglama with the classical guitar. This instrument (Di-Tar) can be heard in his upcoming concert and on his new album “Na Mükemmel”. His last album Busala Aurasi demsontrates to which extend Ahmet Aslan's music has been developed.

Ahmet Aslan was originalle planned to perform on 6 April in our small hall. Due to the corona outbreak, this concert has been rescheduled to Thursday 8 October. Ticketholders have been notified personally and given further information.
