Behind the Music is an entire evening programme, a kind of live documentary focusing on one main guest. In fact, this evening there are two guests: Arthur and Lucas Jussen. The evening will be mediated by Martin Kuiper (FaceCulture) and starts with some brief video interviews, the content of which will be a surprise for Arthur and Lucas. Based on these videos, Martin will interview Arthur and Lucas and the audience will also have an opportunity to ask questions. Expect inside information that isn’t on Wikipedia yet and interesting footage that you’ll be unable to find even in the darkest corners of YouTube. Arthur and Lucas will conclude the evening with a short performance. 

Unfortunatley, this concert has been cancelled due to the recent (Nov 26th) corona restrictions. Ticketholders will be notified about a solution for their ticktets soon.

Martin is a very experienced interviewer and has received praise for his personal and incisive style. He graduated in Physics and Journalism at the University of Groningen. In 2002 he founded FaceCulture and he has worked as a journalist for media outlets including RTL Nieuws, MTV, NU.nl and multiple daily and weekly publications. In his work he has not only interviewed artists, but also politicians and entrepreneurs. In addition, he has developed numerous video formats, including ‘1 minute till showtime’ and the Lowlands tour video. As associate partner at Mediatic he also writes PR copy for numerous companies.

To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert will make use of the 'wallet-less intermission' concept. Visitors are asked to pay for their intermission drink in advance when ordering their tickets: the perfect solution for enjoying your company and your drink as long as possible!
