Not only has man always been fascinated by the weather; composers also derive inspiration from terrifying storms, the romantic sounds of spring, the melancholy patter of rain in autumn and bleak winters. NOS weatherman and researcher Peter Kuipers Munneke takes you to the dizzying world behind the weather and tells you all about rainbows, lightning bolts, snowflakes and low-pressure areas. His lecture will be embellished with appropriate piano music from 1880 to the present by master pianist Ralph van Raat. Our forecast is that this will be a unique evening!

This show is entirely Dutch spoken and doesn't have an interval!
