A performance by the legendary Master Drummers of Burundi is an overwhelming experience, with ceremonial rhythms, singing and athletic dances. On drums made from hollowed-out tree trunks, they present traditional rhythms from Burundi (Central Africa). The common thread running through this concert is the music that accompanies the rituals of birth, death and fertility or the inauguration of kings.
