But there is more life-embracing, orchestral poetry from France in this concert. Marc Soustrot, connoisseur extraordinaire, treats us with the unique oeuvre of Gabriel Fauré and Henri Dutilleux. Van Gogh’s famous ‘Starry Night’ was the inspiration for Dutilleux’s moving Correspondances, in which the Swedish soprano Camilla Tilling is going to play the leading role. Refining, stimulating songs full of the mystery of life. Much like Tilling will regale us with in the final movement of Mahler’s symphony: The Heavenly Life.
To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert will make use of the 'wallet-less intermission' concept. Visitors are asked to pay for their intermission drink in advance when ordering their tickets: the perfect solution for enjoying your company and your drink as long as possible!
