Imagine this: Beethoven is resurrected and hears what people are doing with his music these days. Would he wish himself dead again instantly? Igudesman & Joo, always naughty and completely unpredictable, will address this question in their very own typical style.

I&J – two top-class musicians with a solid background in classical music – will reinvent and rewrite Beethoven the genius in a dazzling show in which the orchestra doesn’t seem to have everything under control anymore.

A hilarious mix of cabaret, comedy, and ... Beethoven, of course, but then in the style unique to Igudesman & Joo. Classical, jazz, or pop: all kinds of music will be reverberating off the walls in a smorgasbord that sets I&J apart from every other genre. Please note: Muziekgebouw Eindhoven cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from this performance!

To keep waiting times down to an absolute minimum, this concert will make use of the 'wallet-less intermission' concept. Visitors are asked to pay for their intermission drink in advance when ordering their tickets: the perfect solution for enjoying your company and your drink as long as possible!
