Following the trilogy he finished last year - To Move, Verses and Ataraxia - this modern composer and pianist presents his classical and electronic way of playing on his new album Parabel. As a conceptual thinker creating music, Myderwyk's Parabel wants to tell us two stories: the classical as well as the electronic.

Myderwyk's music evolves constantly and his live shows are varied. From Lowlands, Oerol, RedLightRadio to the Vondelkerk or ADE; time and again he breaks the laws of tradition by improvsing with his choice of instruments. His new album Parabel involves a whole range of synthesizers. After three solo albums featuring the piano (To Move, Verses, Ataraxia) Matteo presents Parabel featuring his first electronic work.

Parabel shows these two worlds in a piano and an electronic variety. Myderwyk: "I want my music to be flexibly playble on different instruments. Not that I compare myselft to Bach, but his music sounds equally good on harpsichord, piano or organ."
