Volcanic Iceland lends itself perfectly to writing beautiful songs. Ásgier locked himself away in a summerhouse somewhere in nature and worked there for weeks on the poetic album Bury The Moon. His father, poet Einar Georg Einarsson, wrote many of the lyrics as always. But others contributed to the lyrics as well.

Bury The Moon became an exceptional masterpiece on which acoustic melodies and electronic arrangements cleverly and subtly come together. Be warned because Ásgier leaves a deep impression!

A trio of increasingly accomplished EP’s released between 2015 and 2020 have seen HEBE fluently adventuring new styles and reaching listeners around the globe. Her intimate live performance of ‘Cards On The Table’ for UK Mahogany Sessions in 2020, next to the likes of Rhye, Birdy and Billie Eilish as well as the placement of latest single ‘Afraid of Being Hurt’ in US Series ‘Couples Therapy’ as theme song for their final episode, show the international approval of her music.

Her organic and guitar layered new Album 'Release Resolution', where deep and heavy vocal harmonies underline her lyrics, is to be released November 11th.

HEBE's empowering songs and glowing, warm voice manage to seamlessly intertwine a message of melancholy and hopefulness, without getting overly earnest or sounding too pure or confident.

Her Album opens with ‘Wait For Daylight’, a song about the night and the start of an anxious, dark phase. The Album ends with Lifted The Weight, a song that was written in the early mornings in her home in Amsterdam where she often found inspiration after lying awake for several hours which at times gave her a feeling of power and self sustainability.
