Iceland-born Ásgeir Trausti Einarsson, or Ásgeir, has been unstoppable since his debut album In the Silense. From Eurosonic Noorderslag to SXXW one gets to know the warm vocals of Ásgeir better and better. In February he released his album Bury The Moon, a miraculous cross-pollination in which indie-folk, R&B and electronics conspire to create unruly and heartwarming pop songs.

Volcanic Iceland lends itself perfectly to writing beautiful songs. Ásgier locked himself away in a summerhouse somewhere in nature and worked there for weeks on the poetic album Bury The Moon. His father, poet Einar Georg Einarsson, wrote many of the lyrics as always. But others contributed to the lyrics as well.

Bury The Moon became an exceptional masterpiece on which acoustic melodies and electronic arrangements cleverly and subtly come together. Be warned because Ásgier leaves a deep impression!
