Sun 23 Aug ’20
12:00 uur and 15:00 uur

part of the Summer Concerts series:

Come enjoy a classical concert in the sun at DOMUSDELA's garden. For this Summer Concert a delegation of 4 Pynarello musicians who, just like the full formation usually does, do things a little differently. Preferably with a good measure of rebellion, which has been the inspiration for today's programme as well. Classical music can be done differently, more spontaneous, direct, without a conductor and without sheet music. And die-hard foodies get the opportunity to combine this concert with a brunch at Brasserie Rita!

In order to give as many people as possible the opportunity to enjoy this concert, we are offering 2 time slots: 12h00 and 15h00

Prior to the 12h00 concert you can enjoy a delicious brunch (from 10h30). Brunch-tickets can be pre-ordered together with your concert tickets (the brunch-option will become visible in the ordering process).

This Pynarello quartet will be performing works by Mozart, Tsintsadze, Arensky and Van Geel, all of which have, very fittingly, some rebellion to them. Arensky, for example, wrote an unusual score for violin, viola and two cellos so as to express the deep sonority of the piece. But his editor, understandably concerned about releasing an unusual work, convinced Arensky to also make an arrangement for standard string quartet. However, this afternoon's arrangement for the Pynarello quartet is even more unusual...

Sulkhan Tsintsadze is considered to be one of the most original, brilliant and productive Georgian composers. He enjoyed great popularity from a broad audience. So this music is extremely suitable to perform for the DOMUSDELA garden audience.
