A warm, soulful voice, but at the same time sober and intimate. Bai Kamara jr.'s music is a mix of soul-, blues-, funk-, R&B- and jazz influences. "Astride between the rhythms from Africa and the musical achievements from the old and the new world." according to Rootstime.be.

Bai Kamara jr.'s blues are contemporary and rooted in African rhythms, including slightly hypnotising guitar grooves and with a beautiful song mixed in here and there. His voice comes very close to Robert Clay's and he presents himself as a gentleman, albeit a naughty one.

In short: there is nothing standard about Bai Kamar jr.'s blues, yet it's still unmistakably blues.

Every Monday, we present concerts with singer-songwriters, acoustic bands, rootsy performers and other gems from the music world.
