Before whole new plans unfold around Supersister Projekt 22/23 in 2022, the band is now super-motivated and ready to "finish" the tour that was cut short in the fall of 2021. What a pity it was that Supersister front man Robert Jan Stips on November 19 - had to announce that the planned concert in our Muziekgebouw, together with the other two final performances of that tour, had been cancelled due to his coronal infection. Fortunately, the new Supersister super trio, a very special line-up with Rinus Gerritsen on bass and Leon Klaasse on drums, did not leave it at that.

Now that they can be played in full again without restrictive measures, they are coming to 'catch up' with our concert in the Muziekgebouw! With a focus on the '70s classic' Supersister material, such as the live hit 'Wow', but also on the newer work from the LPCD 'Retsis Repus' (2019) - while the Dona Nobis Pacem (Give Us Peace) from 'She was Naked' will never have sounded so right as it does now in these bizarre times...

Supersister, as the ultimate prog rock band, made classic hits like She Was Naked and Radio in the Netherlands in the 1970s, and their album Pudding & Yesterday is still known as one of the best Nederpop albums ever. After the release of the bio about the band Looking Back Naked and a brand new compilation album, the band returned to the stage in 2019 with in the ranks next to Robert Jan among others Golden Earring bassist Rinus Gerritsen. Expect the classic hits and album tracks from the glorious history of this special band, but also work that has never been played live before.
