In the past, Erzincan worked with important and leading musicians such as Arif Sağ and made numerous albums. Among other things, he recorded an acclaimed album with Iranian-Kurdish musician Kayhan Kalhor.
Throughout his career, he has remained loyal to the original sound and methods of the Anatolian tradition. His music is characteristic of the craftsmanship of the "aşık" culture, the Anatolian tradition of poets and troubadours. Erzincan's music reflects this ancient tradition in a modern way: he tells the stories of Anatolia and connects the values in those stories with life and the challenges of today. Erzincan is without a doubt a true "Master of Anatolia.
It's not every day you get the chance to listen to a true master from Anatolia. Come and share this unique evening with Erdal Erzincan.
