No just any trumpet playes, Selina Ott. She's part of this season's series International Prizes & Awards because she recently received te OPUS Klassik Award.

Way more telling, though, is the fact that she won First Prize at the mega difficult 2018 ARD Cmpettion.This made her the very first female prizewinner in the Trumpet category in the 70-year histery of the comptition. And she was only 20 years old. Thát is what we call an accomplishment! So it makes complete sende that she then went on to win more prizes and awards: we're dealing with an absolutely exceptional musician here!

No surprise then that her career took off in no mean manner. Selina Ott is in demand the world over, performs at the big festivals with all the famous orchestras in all the top venues.

Today, she plays a varied programme featuring some spectacularly virtuoso trumpet works alternating with some beautifull solo works for piano played by her piano-parnter.
