You will once again hear the Sonoro Quartet with one of the last string quartets by Joseph Haydn, an ingenious masterpiece with seriousness and esprit. You will hear Erik Bosgraaf, the talented and highly productive Dutch recorder player, who was awarded the Nederlandse Muziekprijs, the highest state award in the field of music, and who has since released numerous CDs.
At his side, the versatile Finnish violinist Antti Tikkanen, successor to Vladimir Mendelssohn as artistic director of the prestigious Kuhmo Festival, and the young French oboist Louis Baumann, who last season won Third Prize at the International Music Competition in Geneva and is now principal oboist of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. They perform chamber music by Georg Philipp Telemann, the most famous and versatile German composer of the 18th century.
