In early 2022 Blaudzun's sixth full-length album LONELY CITY EXIT WOUNDS was released. The singles 'REAL HERO' and 'WIDE OPEN' are chosen as TopSong by NPO Radio2 and the album reaches the number-1 position in the Dutch album top-100. Reviewers are short of superlatives to describe and praise the artist and songs.


This concert is part of the anniversary concerts.

LONELY CITY EXIT WOUNDS consists of a collection of twelve cinematic and emotional pop songs. An album with "the lonely city as a starting point, as a crime scene, as a refuge, as a maze and as a hungry character that feeds on the heart cries of losers and the souvenirs of heroes," as Blaudzun himself describes.

The NY-RIO-BERLIN theater tour is an intimate follow-up to the album. During the concerts the singer and songwriter will perform the songs from LONELY CITY EXIT WOUNDS with his regular musicians, the best of his earlier work and new music in special and atmospheric versions.
