Drum je Vrij: Türkiye
Percussion Friends, together with Veysel Dzhesur, will on this day provide educational percussion workshops with a focus on the percussion instruments from Turkey. Young and old, experienced and inexperienced, anyone may join in to experience the joy of playing percussion and learn about the music from Turkey and other parts of the world. Veysel Dzhesur was born in Izmir, Turkey, where he began his musical career. He has since grown into a percussionist with a unique profile, combining traditions and styles from Turkey and the Middle East with Western classical music.
Drum je Vrij is a successful educational project for elementary schools and is about the freedom you feel when you make music together. It's a collaboration between TROMP Percussion Eindhoven, Percussion Friends, the Van Abbemuseum and CultuurStation.
Grup Turku

The band was founded in 1998 and in recent years they have managed to reach many listeners worldwide with its hit song called Yarinimsin. The band now consists of four people with two musicians simultaneously playing and singing the saz. There is also a drummer and keyboardist. The repertoire consists of a good mix between up-tempo and easy listening songs.
