The Hello Darlins isn't just any Canadian Americana band. The band members are among the most in-demand session musicians in their home country and have played with BB King, Shania Twain, Richard Marx and many others. Guitarist Murray Pulver played in Crash Test Dummies, among others, and collectively they were awarded quite a few JUNO Awards.

The foundation for this collective was laid in 2016, when Mike Little and Candace Lacina teamed up after a joint studio session. Thinking it would be fun to start an americana/folk group it wasn't until their friend and producer Murray Pulver suggested they make a record that things really got serious. The result was the debut album "Go By Feel," released in June 2021. A beautiful, laid-back Americana record in collaboration with Matt Andersen, who himself is not completely unknown, filling Dutch venues such as TivoliVredenburg and De Oosterpoort.

Striking is the soft and beautiful voice of singer Candace Lacina. The album consists of a combination of folk, country, soul and blues and clearly shows that the Hello Darlins know how to create their own genre. Meanwhile, the band has been nominated for 3 Canadian Folk Music Awards in the categories New/Emerging Artist of the Year, Ensemble/Group of the Year and Single of the Year (Still Waters).
