German composer and multi-instrumentalist Nils Frahm returns to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! Nils is the forerunner of the neoclassical movement, which has become hugely popular in recent years. Using vintage synthesizers and drum computers alongside his trusty piano, Frahm creates an intriguing musical universe in which electronica, minimal, ambient and piano sounds converge. Whether he plays in intimate jazz clubs or large festival tents, everyone is always silent to enjoy his neoclassical repertoire. Live, the virtuoso Frahm knows how to maintain tension from the first to the last note!

Last September, Nils released his new album 'Music For Animals', which is his most extensive studio work to date. On the three-hour record, there is no trace of the piano, but he has used only electronic instruments. This makes the album substantially different from anything Frahm has made before, characterised by tranquillity and texture. The length of three hours may seem intimidating, but this wonderful collection encourages listeners to indulge in tranquillity and pay as much attention to the music as they like. "It all comes back to that waterfall. If you want to watch it, watch it. If you don't, then you don't have to. It will always be the same, yet never quite the same.", says Nils himself.
