After 3 years, English singer-songwriter Jonathan Jeremiah returns to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! In 2020 Jonathan shared our stage with the 20-piece string orchestra Amsterdam Sinfonietta, but in August he will show what he has to offer solo. He released his debut album 'A Solitary Man' in 2011 and since then he has been compared to iconic artists such as Scott Walker, Serge Gainsbourg and Terry Callier. His authentic and timeless sound combines acoustic R&B with folk-like soul sounds and is highly recommended for anyone who loves soul, blues and, of course, the groove that goes with it.

The Bethlehem Church in Amsterdam served as the studio for "Horsepower for the Streets," his fifth album. This record was recorded with Amsterdam Simfonietta and these insanely well-arranged strings, along with Jonathan's warm voice, melancholy lyrics and groovy rhythm section, provide fireworks! 'Horsepower For The Streets' has emerged as a classic 70's album with soulful songs and beautiful arrangements reminiscent of the music of John Barry and Nick Drake.

Support act: néomí

néomí is the moniker for folk-pop singer-songwriter Neomi Speelman who writes authentic and sincere stories backed by dreamy soundscapes inspired by the classic folk songwriters, old and new alike, like Bon Iver, Bob Dylan, and Phoebe Bridgers. On Sunday, August 27th, she will be the support act for Jonathan Jeremiah.
