Dominic brings together his two greatest loves in Favourites: music and storytelling. Favourites is the sequel to Music, Maestro!, part two of Dominic's personal journey. It recounts his arrival in the Netherlands and how his life changed positively as a result. Music is the common thread in his life, and the audience gets to know Dominic better through entertaining anecdotes from both his personal and professional life.

Favourites is a feast for the eyes and ears, for the young and old. With an orchestra of ten musicians, Dominic will bring you his favourite music, characterized by its great versatility. There will be classical music of course, but other genres such as film music, jazz and folk will also be performed. Both stories and music will be mixed in with surprising visual art, staging and a touch of magic.

Dominic has been principle double bass player of the Concertgebouw Orchestra since 2008. He is also a much-loved chamber musician and active soloist (with the KCO, London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra). Dominic teaches at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has given master classes in New York, Helsinki, Beijing, Florida, Sydney and Zurich, among other places. He is also a corporate key-note speaker, voice-over actor, arranger and musical director.

Besides working as a 'classical musician', Dominic also has a passion for pop, jazz and light music. He can be heard in many film and TV soundtracks (Harry Potter, James Bond, The English Patient, Dr Who.) and performed with various pop musicians (Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Seal, Spice Girls, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Wouter Hamel, Giovanca). The general public knows him mainly as a TV personality in the popular AVROTROS programme Maestro.
