In Dominic Seldis' Favourites, Dominic brings together his two greatest loves - music and storytelling. His whole life consists of special musical moments and fascinating events that have made him one of the most recognisable and beloved faces of classical music in the Netherlands.

Dominic Seldis' Favourites will be a personal show reflecting Dominic's endless enthusiasm for the most beautiful music. Together with his orchestra, Dominic plays his favourite music with spectacular staging and lighting, flooding the audience with musical joy.

Dominic has been 1st solo double bassist of the Concertgebouw Orchestra since 2008. He is also a much-loved chamber musician and active soloist (with the KCO, London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra). Dominic is a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He has given master classes in New York, Helsinki, Beijing, Florida, Sydney and Zurich, among others. He is also a corporate key-note speaker, voice-over actor, arranger and musical director.

Besides working as a 'classical musician', Dominic also has a passion for pop, jazz and light music. He can be heard in many film and TV soundtracks (Harry Potter, James Bond, The English Patient, Dr Who.) and performed with various pop musicians (Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Seal, Spice Girls, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Wouter Hamel, Giovanca). The general public knows him mainly as a TV personality in the popular AVROTROS programme Maestro.
