Meet tomorrow’s stars! From June 24th to July 2nd about 70 candidates will be competing for the Opera I Oratorio Prize in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch) and Eindhoven. So they can go on to dazzle us on the stages and in the concert halls of Amsterdam Paris, New York and Milan. Enjoy the final of the 55th IVC Opera I Oratorio Competition here in Eindhoven on the 2nd of July!

Tonight we will find out who will take home the Grand Prix ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Maestro Hartmut Haenchen conducts the South Netherlands Philharmonic and the eight finalists.

The jury will have their hands full deciding who will be awarded the Prize. And you get to decide who will win the Public’s Award. You can witness the denouement of this wonderful competition during the Finale and meet tomorrow’s stars!

Of course you are welcome to visit all the other events in this week-long opera festival, the 55th IVC Opera I Oratorio Competition,  from June 25th to July 1st in the Verkadefabriek in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. If you buy a passe-partout of € 105 you receive a discount of € 10 on your ticket for the finale here in Eindhoven.

During the deliberations of the jury, from about 21.30, the restaurant Meneer Frits will offer a buffet about which you can read more and for which you can reserve here. Afterwards you can hear which candidates won.
