Matthias Van den Brande is a Belgian jazz saxophonist and composer who has become an integral part of the Dutch and Belgian jazz scenes. He is often seen as a sideman with various groups, including the Tijs Klaassen Quintet, Motet, and Basile Rahola Quartet. In 2021, he formed his own trio. The intimate setting of a trio provides the musicians with incredible freedom to develop new ideas, using their close friendship and strong musical bond as a foundation. While approaching the trio formation in a modern and unique way, the music remains accessible to the audience through strong interplay and melodic compositions rooted in the jazz tradition. In April 2022, they released their first EP, "Approaching The Present."

The ClubCard is valid for all Blue Note ClubSessions in the 2023/2024 season, which runs until July 2024.

Timetable

Doors at M open at 16h00, where you can enjoy a drink and the music of a jazz DJ. The live concert starts at 17h00 and will last until 18h15. Finishing the event, the DJ will play until 19h00.
