The New York Times once observed the following about Christoph Prégardien: ‘His lyrical tenor had a youthful glow, he sang with poignant beauty and keen insight’.

This evening, Prégardien will be singing the tenor parts and conducting the phenomenal singers of the Netherlands Bach Society in the most beautiful vocal religious music: psalms by Mendelssohn and motets by Bach, with the seventeenth-century composer Heinrich Schütz’s intimate St. John’s Passion as a highlight.
