‘They captivated the audience with their tempestuous playing and fresh, youthful appeal’: the apt description given by NDR.de for this young Berlin-based string quartet.

"They captivated the audience with their tempestuous playing and fresh, youthful appeal"

Founded in 2012, the quartet quickly gained recognition, not only at the Leipziger Gewandhaus and Konzerthaus Berlin but also for their spectacular Dunkelkonzerte: concerts performed in the dark. Beethoven spent a full six months working on his grandiose quartet Opus 132. He called it Heiliger Dankgesang eines Genesenden in gratitude of having overcome a grave illness while composing this work.

A delicious cheese plate and a nice glass of wine will be included at this concert, before or after the concert you are welcome in the foyer.
