Szymon Nehring’s Polish origin shines through in everything he does. The pieces on his CD of works by Chopin, the most famous Pole of all times, are called Mazurki, Polonez, or Etiud.

When he enters in a piano competition it’s not only the Fryderyk Chopin but also the Arthur Rubinstein Competition. The latter was won hands down by Nehring in 2017: a gold medal, the best rendition of a work by Chopin and the audience prize. Nehring’s début performance at Carnegy Hall was, of course, a great success.

A delicious cheese plate and a nice glass of wine will be included at this concert, before or after the concert you are welcome in the foyer.
