Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is the perfect place for pop music lovers. Our vibrant halls regularly host fantastic pop concerts, from well-known icons to promising newcomers. Our halls can be transformed into different settings: at a seaated/standing concert, you can either dance close to the stage or pick a seat a bit further up the hall to enjoy the concert sitting down.

  • Lenny Kuhr

    Winner Eurovison Song Contest 1969

    Lenny sings from her extensive and vibrant body of work. The icing on the cake is the album that was released at the end of January 2022 on the Excelsior label, titled "Lenny Kuhr." An album on which she stepped out of her comfort zone with surprising results. It features new work of her own as well as pieces that colleagues wrote specifically for her. Among them are Stef Bos, Spinvis, Elke Vierveijzer, and Lenny's daughter, Daphna. At this concert, she performs recent and older works, and even repertoire never performed before.

    The Dire Straits Experience is coming back to Muziekgebouw Eindhoven! However, thanks to those same passionate fans, the music of Dire Straits is more alive than ever before.   • GUIDO

    Neoclassical pianist with music for inner peace

    Step out of the rat race with the piano music of GUIDO. With his neoclassical piano music, the composer and pianist reaches a global audience. His single 'Old Letter' has been listened to more than 9 million times on Spotify alone. Additionally, his music is regularly featured on NPO Radio 4, and he has been a guest on the podcast 'Keihard Klassiek'.     The music of Italian composer and pianist Fabrizio Paterlini can be categorized into various genres, including neoclassical, ambient, new age, and minimal. However, what might be more fitting are the adjectives commonly used to describe his music: airy, sensitive, emotional, dreamy, delicate, and passionate. Paterlini himself characterizes his music as "a glass of red wine on a summer evening," emphasizing the calming effect it has on listeners. In October 2023, he released his new album 'Riverscape,' inspired by the flows, rhythms, and stories carried by water. Critics describe the work as emotional, ethereal, and notably passionate.

His 2020 album, "The Ridge," marked a significant breakthrough, earning him two Juno Award nominations. In 2021, Taylor was even honored as the Solo Artist Of The Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Julian's new album, "Beyond the Reservoir," released in October 2022, continues the soul-folk sound and explores autobiographical themes of identity, loss, sadness, hope, and redemption, first explored in "The Ridge."

  • The Wood Brothers

    Brothers Chris and Oliver Wood have been making music together as The Wood Brothers since 2006. In 2011, multi-instrumentalist Jano Rix joined the duo, adding layers of texture to their music with his arsenal of instruments. The trio blends folk, country, blues, and jazz into a typical Americana style while maintaining a distinct sound. Their performances as a trio are so impressive that it's hard to believe there are only three of them. In 2013, they received widespread recognition with their album 'The Muse,' and in 2018, they received a Grammy nomination for their album 'One Drop of Truth'.

  • AMIMEA & Job Roggeveen

    Organic and adventurous piano pieces

    Job Roggeveen and AMIMEA, both neoclassical composers and pianists, had a plan to compose together. During a quatre-mains improvisation, two adventurous piano pieces emerged very organically. Think of muted strings, repetitive rhythms, and staccato bass patterns. During this duo show, they take you on a journey from serene melancholic piano melodies to subtle electronics and driving quatre-mains pieces. They take turns, complement each other, and let their characteristic sound and voices blend into a captivating neoclassical evening. AMIMEA released her second album "A Million Tiny Lenses" this year. Job Roggeveen will present his fifth album "Soothing Hymns For Bewildered Hearts" this autumn.

Pop music is characterised by rhythmic beats, rousing vocal lines and catchy melodies. This genre appeals to a large group of people for a reason: the word "pop" is derived from the word "popular". At our pop concerts, you will enjoy the most diverse styles within this genre, from rock to folk and from singer-songwriter to Dutch folk singers. 

Many international heroes have already given us unforgettable pop concerts. But even the biggest Dutch names are more than happy to make an appearance on our stage.
