Luka Bloom may by now be a music business veteran, the folk artist is still going strong on stage with as much enthusiasm and candour as when he first broke through with the albums Riverside (1990) and The Acoustic Motorbike (1992).

With 51 years under his belt as a songwriter and interpreter, last summer Bloom thought it was time to (re)record no less than 51 of his songs, also creating the perfect occasion for a new concert tour. The resulting  triple (!) album and concert have the same title: "Wave Up to the Shore: 51 songs for 51 years".
