The Dutch neoclassical composer and pianist Frank de Lange is also known as a 'musical painter.' His unique approach to music is rooted in the rare perception of chromesthesia, where he sees colors and shapes when hearing sounds. On his albums 'Images' (2020) and 'Contemplations ~ Opus I & II' (2022), he demonstrates how this manifests: the compositions create colorful landscapes with the melody at the forefront. Inspired by masters like Chopin, Satie, and Debussy, DeLange expresses his emotions and life experiences in a distinctive way.

His debut release, 'Tristesse,' reached the third-highest position this year as a newcomer in the Classical Top 400 of NPO Klassiek, landing at 166. DeLange has garnered over 30 million streams worldwide, and he recently performed a sold-out concert in the Small Hall of the Concertgebouw. In February, the pianist will give a concert at M by Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
