When Bryce Dessner's latest Piano Concerto is performed by star pianist Alice Sara Ott, something special is about to happen. Dessner, an American composer based in Paris, has won Gramophone awards for his 'classical' compositions as well as for his guitar work with his rock band, The National. Philzuid commissioned this Piano Concerto specifically for Alice Sara Ott ("dazzling, unstoppable," The Guardian).

In addition to this unique Dutch premiere, experience Joey Roukens' enchanting tribute to centuries-old Renaissance music by Sweelinck, and the romantic, symphonic richness from Italy's Ottorino Respighi. In his Fountains of Rome and Roman Festivals, this Italian master composer depicted cascading fountains, dark scenes in Nero's Circus Maximus, and sun-drenched harvest festivals of ancient Rome in an unparalleled manner.
