And when you mention Viennese waltzes, you think of Johann Strauss Jr.! 2025 happens to be the 200th anniversary of the Waltz King's birth. This New Year's concert by Philzuid is the perfect way to kick off the new year.

Taiwanese conductor Mei-Ann Chen, with close ties to Austria, leads the way into 2025 with a dazzling program centered around Johann Strauss. Whose heart doesn't beat faster to the strains of An der Schönen blauen Donau, and who can resist tapping their feet to the overture from Die Fledermaus?
