Mfonds Jong talent

Young talent

Various competitions and series are supported by the Mfund and thus give young musicians the opportunity to take the next step in the world of professional music. Thanks to your support, the Dutch Classical Talent and Grand Prix series have been made possible in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. This way, young talent can gain stage experience as well as work on their portfolio and network. For 'very young' talent, the Mfonds supports the annual Archipel Music Competition, in which strong connections are also made with the elderly living in care institutions. Many young talents have already emerged from the Archipel competition.

Educatie kinderen

Education for kids

Introducing children to music, letting them make music themselves so they can feel what music can do to you. That is what the Muziekgebouw children's concerts and pancake concerts are for. Young children are treated to a tasty pancake and a tailor made show for kids. Double fun, as both fun and price are very attractive which makes these concerts accessible to all. Making music and listening to it strengthens the interaction between the two brain hemispheres and increases creativity, developments a child will enjoy for the rest of its life. That's why the Mfonds is especially keen to support these projects.

Quiet 040

With 'Music for Everyone', Muziekgebouw Eindhoven wants to reach out to people for whom a ticket would normally be too expensive. For this, we work together with local partners who specialise in reaching this target group. One of these partners is Quiet040. Quiet Eindhoven's mission is to play an active role, through a cashless digital sharing platform, in mitigating the effects of poverty. "We believe that our Eindhoven society will become stronger, healthier and richer if we ensure that everyone counts, matters, is seen. For our members, we want to make a contribution to living instead of surviving". Thanks to an Mfonds contribution, tickets are made available every year and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven offers many visitors an unforgettable and carefree evening.

Mfonds nieuw publiek

New audience

It is of great importance to the the existence and continuation of the music culture and of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven that the city's inhabitants can choose from a broad variety of concerts. Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is a venue that belongs to and is made by the city, welcoming all residents to come and watch and listen to the beautiful and diverse range of concerts that take place. All kinds of different activities are being developed so as to appeal to various audiences. Only in this way can music continue to be heard in the future.

Merhaba Eindhoven!
In 2022, the first edition of Merhaba Eindhoven! took place. This day was dedicated to Turkish culture and we reached no less than 2,500 visitors from various backgrounds on this day. Meanwhile, the next edition is scheduled for 18 November 2023.

Indian Day
Following the success of Merhaba Eindhoven!, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven will organise two events in 2023 where the Indian community will take centre stage. "Vibez of India" on 2 July 2023 and "Indian Day" on 2 December 2023.
