Crossing the waters
"The title is both literal and metaphorical. Pete and I have crossed oceans to come here. The story of this country, a land reclaimed from the water is also story of crossing the waters to become who you, nee, want ik ben ook een Nederlander, om te worden wie we zijn. Together this evening in words and music we will cross the waters together to a place of fresh hope...a vision of who we can become."

Pete Letanka studied jazz and composition at Leeds College of Music. He frequently performs with his jazz trio and is known in the United Kingdom as an inspiring storyteller and presenter. As an artistic director, he developed several educational projects for opera houses and festivals.
