Sparkling champagne, dazzling fireworks (or not) and white-sugared oliebollen... 2024 has begun! With philharmonie zuidnederland's New Year's concert, give a swinging start to a New Year full of wonderful concerts.

Our own chief conductor Duncan Ward, together with our orchestral musicians, will take you on a whirlwind journey through numerous musical highlights. How about Gershwin's Strike up the band and Bernstein's exuberant On the Town. Born in Africa, educated in Bordeaux, brilliant in famous opera houses, she is now with us on stage: mezzo-soprano Adriana Bignagni Lesca. With an opera star of that calibre, such an abundance of great music and an orchestra that has a zest for it, this will be a concert evening to remember all year.
