KRUIDKOEK brings their own blend of jazz, rock and Tarantino films to the stage. A musical mix, which they have renamed GarageJazz. You will find touches of Zappa, Ploctones, Rudder, Bowie, The Beatles and Nirvana in their versatile sound oeuvre. Yet it remains dynamic instrumental music full of improvisation with saxophone, guitar, bass and drums. KRUIDKOEK is a derailed childhood dream of four close friends. They found in music an outlet in a band with which they stretch their limits and expand their horizons concessionlessly and with noticeable pleasure.

With their musical adventure, the boys have already hit quite a few spots in the Netherlands. They often use one-takers, in one room with the amps turned up considerably and no long cut-and-paste sessions afterwards. With their albums, they try to convey live energy and you can actually come and experience it live in Eindhoven.

Blue Note ClubSessions

Every other Saturday, established names and surprisingly emerging talent from the contemporary jazz and soul scene take turns in an informal club setting at Blue Note ClubSessions. At Meneer Frits, the focus is on combining socializing with enjoying top-notch live music.

Are you a fan of the Blue Note ClubSessions? Then order a Blue Note ClubCard, allowing you to purchase 10 tickets for only €75. That's a €50 discount! 

The ClubCard has a scratch-off layer revealing a unique code. You can use this code to order your Blue Note ClubSessions tickets online prior to the concert. The ClubCard itself does not grant access to the concert, so make sure to order your tickets beforehand. The ClubCard is valid for all Blue Note ClubSessions in the 2023/2024 season, which runs until July 2024. 

You can choose to have the ClubCard delivered to your home for an additional fee or pick it up at our box office. Don’t forget to bring the order confirmation.

Timetable

The doors of Meneer Frits open at 4:00 PM, where you can already enjoy a drink and the music of a jazz DJ. The live concert starts at 5:00 PM and will last until 6:15 PM. To wrap up the event nicely, the jazz DJ will play until 7:00 PM.
