The five-member collective Five Dollar Shake breathes new life into the blues. Traditional blues rock gets a contemporary makeover, soulful, powerful, and with a bluesy touch. Their infectious stage energy, virtuosity, and compelling songs make the band a welcome presence at festivals, music venues, and cozy pubs. They have performed at the Zwarte Cross and opened for American soul and blues headliners such as Southern Avenue and Fantastic Negrito. Five Dollar Shake knows how to turn any place into a party, and wherever you put this band, your venue will be rocking in no time. Their first album 'Bigger Heart' was released in early 2024.

Lead singer Lucinda Legaspi powerfully conveys her personal story on the album 'Bigger Heart.' A tumultuous divorce turned her world upside down, unleashing the anger, frustration, and pain that she poured into her writing. Nevertheless, 'Bigger Heart' is more than a reflection of personal emotions; it also embodies the ultimate sign of recovery: getting angry about what else is happening in the world. Directly from the Delta of the Biesbosch: Merel van de Keer. A One Woman Band and a true roots artist from Raamsdonksveer in Brabant. From compelling blues, psychedelic delta voodoo to beautiful listening songs with a very distinctive sound, mysterious and notably raw. With her relentless vocals, resonator strings resonating fervently, and self-accompaniment on bass drum and snare, she delivers an exhilarating live show. You could almost forget that she's alone on stage. She takes you on a misty journey of captivating and poignant music, which, due to its purity in delivery, resonates deeply. The Americana Mondays Card has a scratch-off layer revealing a unique code. You can use this code to order your Americana Mondays tickets online prior to the concert. The card itself does not grant access to the concert, so make sure to order your tickets beforehand. The Americana Mondays Card is valid for all Americana Mondays in the 2023/2024 season, which runs until July 2024.
