"Proud Mary," "Who’ll Stop The Rain," "Bad Moon Rising," "I Put A Spell On You;" These are just a few examples from the long list of indestructible classics credited to Creedence Clearwater Revival. With their distinctive sound and catchy songs, John Fogerty and his band achieved unprecedented success in the '60s and '70s. Numerous chart-topping hits and a performance at Woodstock were the result. The music of C.C.R. is etched in the memories of many as the ultimate soundtrack of the legendary '60s and '70s. The Fortunate Sons bring these times back to life.

The men felt that the C.C.R. repertoire should not be lost on stage, and they have emerged as adept interpreters of their heroes. With their dazzling "Tribute to C.C.R.," they have delivered numerous exhilarating shows in both the Netherlands and abroad, thus building a strong live reputation. The Fortunate Sons, like no other, know how to bring the atmosphere and feeling of the '60s and '70s, the heyday of pop music, to life with their "Tribute to C.C.R." Lead singer and guitarist Toon Eppink, with his booming voice and energetic performance, comes dangerously close to C.C.R. frontman John Fogerty. He has even been crowned 'the Dutch John Fogerty' by many. With the incomparably swinging rhythm section of Arn Kortooms on bass and Ipo van Drooge on drums, along with the atmospheric contribution of Jan van Bijnen on guitar and keys, the whole thing turns into a lively celebration.
