When it comes to progressive rock, Haken is the name that springs to mind. Since the sextet from England began making music in 2004, they have been one of the most adventurous bands within their genre. Each album they have released is unique, but they are connected by their unpredictable time signatures and distinctive songwriting and vocals. Their most recent album, "Fauna," epitomizes this diversity at its best. Haken describes the album as their 'sonic rainforest', where they blend old sounds with new, daring ideas. During this concert, they will perform "Fauna" in its entirety, as well as a selection of their older work.

"Aquarius," Haken's first album, gave a new impetus to British progressive rock. The record brought a mix of strong melodies, unique guitar riffs, and striking keyboard parts, making them one of the most exciting bands in the genre since Porcupine Tree. Whether you're a fan of Haken's adventurous melodious classic period ("Aquarius," "Visions," and "The Mountain"), their futuristic tribute to the 80s on "Affinity", or their excursion into djent on "Vector" or "Virus," Haken provided it all. Last year, they released "Fauna," which crowns all the band's work.
