On Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 May, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Stadsopvang Ons Thuis, Stichting Ik Wil and the Storioni Trio join forces to give a special group of people a musical hug.

By increasing cultural participation among the elderly, we contribute to positive health in our city. With the launch of "Long Live Music", Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is setting up structural collaborations with the Mantelzorg Verlicht foundation, Vier het Leven, Vitalis Residentie Petruspark, Ons Thuis and Villa Valckenborg, among others.

On 17 and 18 May, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Storioni Festival, Dagbeleving Ons Thuis & Stichting Ik Wil organise two musical days to inaugurate these collaborations.

Sometimes it is difficult to go out to attend a concert. If you have limited mobility, this can be a barrier and keep you from going out.

On 17 and 18 May, we will make sure the music comes to the people!  In the familiar living room of Ons Thuis or Ik wil, or literally in the living room of a care facility, there will be world-class concerts, music you can normally only hear ín Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.

On 17 May, the Storioni Trio will perform live at Vitalis Wilgenhof at 10:30 am. Simultaneously, the Skazka Quartet will perform at Vitalis Kronehoef.

On 18 May at 10:30 am, the Storioni Trio will be seen in the living room of Dagbeleving Ons Thuis and simultaneously again the Skazka Quartet in the living room of Stichting Ik Wil.

Concluding the day, the main concert will take place in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.

Apart from the Storioni Trio, performers include Maat Saxophone Quartet and the winner of the Storioni Conours 2022: the Skazka Quartet.

Thjis afternoon, Residents of care homes in Eindhoven, participants of Vier het Leven and Mantelzorg Verlicht are exclusively treated to a Musical Hug.
