Following the enormous success of Merhaba Eindhoven! in 2022, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is organizing another edition of the festival. Saturday, 18 November Eindhoven welcomes the one and only Turkish star Mabel Matiz as the festival headliner!
Colourful Bazaar
This vibrant festival Merhaba Eindhoven! kicks off with at 1:00 PM. The afternoon opens with a colourful bazaar, offering delicious Turkish snacks and drinks as well as all sorts of wonderful merchandiseand many children's activities. The bazaar will be open until 20h00 and takes place on our ground floor, the Stadsfoyer.
Festival evening with Mabel Matiz
The star of the evening is Mabel Matiz. This Turkish pop artist is visiting Merhaba Eindhoven! as part of his world tour. One of Mabel Matiz's main hits is "Gök Nerede", which he released in 2015. The song quickly became a sensation and earned him wide recognition in Turkey and abroad. The music video has been viewed millions of times on YouTube. Mabel Matiz has released several successful albums during his career, including "Gök Nerede" (2015) and "Maya" (2018). His music is praised for its innovative and unique sound and he has won numerous awards. His concert is scheduled at 21:00 in the Grote Zaal of Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
The line-up also includes Eindhoven-based band Music From The Orient. DJ Flamingo is coming back once again for the afterparty.
Ambassadors
Muziekgebouw Eindhoven organizes the festival in collaboration with many local organisations, such as the Turkish Professional Network Eindhoven (TPN-E), Stichting Ik Wil, and Music from the Orient. Mystiek Productions is also part of the organisation. The festival was developed in partnership with ambassadors and caters to the needs and desires of the Turkish community. It will be a celebration where everyone with a passion for Turkish culture will have a special day.
Your World Your Music
Merhaba Eindhoven is part of Your World, Your Music. This project involves a festival, hosted by the Muziekgebouw, focusing on the culture and music of one Eindhoven community. In close collaboration with ambassadors from the relevant community, the festival programme is created.
