Singer-songwriter Josh Gray was born in San Francisco, but grew up in the US state of maryland. 2016 he moved again, this time to Tennessee's (country) music capital Nashville. He got his first guitar as a 16-year-old teenager, but it wasn't until 15 years later that he stood on a stage for the first time to sing his self-written songs along with his guitar. His music may fall under the alt-country category, but you can also hear snatches of folk, rock, blues and even bluegrass in his songs. 

In 2015, his journey on the record market began with the release of an acoustic EP. His latest release, the album 'Walk Alone' released in 2023, has made a big impression in the music industry. It is a well-thought-out album with a new, modern version of country music. Each of the songs is an appealing mix of folk, country, blues and rock. "Gray displays a wide variety of country rock styles and proves himself to be a brutally honest singer-songwriter. All presented in beautifully captivating songs that remind us of Lee Clayton." according to music magazine Heaven Magazine.


Support act: Biko van Deijck

Biko van Deijck grew up in the Eindhoven Americana scene. Among John Prine fans and JJ Cale cover bands, he began writing songs himself. The fascination for folk and country never waned, resulting in his debut EP 'Biko' this year. While traditional country themes, such as drinking and heartbreak, are present in his songs, self-deprecation is always just around the corner in Biko's music. As the jury of the 'Mooie Noten' pop competition said this year: "I laughed out loud, but also felt pangs of sorrow."
