The 8-member collective Bird on the Wire returns to Eindhoven with their unique interpretations of Leonard Cohen's songs. Singer Pauline Scanlon and the Galway-based band The Whileaways collaborate to bring the music of singer and songwriter Leonard Cohen back to life with beautiful arrangements and string sections. Bird on the Wire brings together talented musicians to offer you a unique way to experience the timeless and yet nostalgic music of Leonard Cohen live once again.

About Bird on the Wire

Singer Pauline Scanlon, known for her enchanting debut album "Red Colour Sun," has performed and recorded with various artists, including Damien Dempsey, Sinéad O'Connor, and John Spillane. The Whileaways consist of three powerful voices in Irish roots music: Noelie McDonnell, Noriana Kennedy, and Nicola Joyce join forces to create beautiful original songs, and their voices also shine exceptionally well with the music of Leonard Cohen. They are accompanied, among others, by Will Merrigan on bass, Dave Clancy as a keyboardist, Matthew Berrill on saxophone, and Eamon Murray on drums.
