British singer/musician Joe Jackson has been in the business for over fifty years. We know him, of course, as the angry young man who broke through in 1979 with his first single 'Is She Really Going Out With Him?'. Since then, the versatile Jackson has touched almost every genre, with hints of rock, jazz, classical, and swing evident in all of his songs. Tonight, we're going to enjoy the “Two Rounds Of Racket Tour”. The show consists of two parts: a solo set by Joe Jackson featuring his original songs, and a set based on the album What A Racket! by Max Champion, a musical genius from the English Music Hall era of the early 20th century.

At the end of last year, the brand new album titled Max Champion in ‘What A Racket!’ was released – a revival of the songs of the enigmatic English Music Hall artist Max Champion from the early 20th century. Joe Jackson says, “These were beautiful songs in their time, but they are also surprisingly modern. Sometimes it's almost as if Max, from his London of the early 20th century, is speaking directly to us in the early 21st century.”
